Meet Justin
You will meet Justin who lives with his family in this fourth-generation family-owned period home. Growing up it was an active dairy farm where Justin recalls spending many a school holiday milking cows, driving tractors, feeding animals and digging holes. Situated on an estate of idyllic landscaped gardens and magnificent parkland, located in the historic region of the Munster Blackwater Valley. After a career in the management of prestigious hotels around the world, Justin returned home with his wife Jenny in 2000 and took over the running of this magnificent period home as a perfect retreat for guest experiences.
About the Experience
Justin will take you through the woods, gardens and meadows of his historic home, where you will hear many stories and forage for seasonal, wild edible plants. On return house chef Steve will prepare a 3 course lunch - includes a starter, main, pudding and tea or coffee which you will enjoy in the main house or on the dining terrace. Made also with seasonal ingredients from their own walled garden and local artisan produce, this foraging and lunch experience that will create a lasting memory of the unique taste and flavour of this idyllic area.

Wild Mushroom and Fruit foraging autumn only.
